Keith lives with his family in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
He
has worked with imaging and graphic applications for 25 years and
has developed his own custom
techniques to ensure client satisfaction and artistic
excellence.
Keith can visualize a painting in almost any photo
and has
developed his skills to transform even a mediocre snapshot into a great art
piece. His paintings are enjoyed by personal and corporate clients
throughout the world.
Keith
enjoys and examines the work of many artists and their chosen media.
He is an ardent skier and photographer.

Peak Experience Imagery (PEI) was created in 1999 as a number of key imaging and printing technologies
converged. Our three main business areas are:

Services range from a single 'Painting from Your Photograph' through to development and
execution of a complete corporate and group gifting program.

of Keith's original artwork and photography as Limited Edition Reproductions, Open

& Gift/Thank You Cards, Fine Art Photographic Prints, stock images and digital image files.
Consulting work, on-site photography and painting
services for specific venues, special events, conventions and functions.
Personal Notes
My
paintings often surprised and confuse. This is a good thing.
Photographers see my paintings as a new extension of photography.
Art professionals see fine art that would be welcome in any gallery.
Digital imaging professionals are familiar with the underlying technologies but
don't understand how I achieve such a natural look with digital tools.
My
clients don't care about the confusion, they love their own
commissioned painting because it is unique and personal to them or their
organization They have had an active part in its creation, whether by taking the original
photo, by working with me over the Internet to achieve a painting style
that matches their taste or simply by their special connection to the
painting's subject.
First and foremost, my paintings must have a pleasing and natural look. Unlike
many artists using digital media, I craft each
brush stroke to best bring out the character and substance of the subject.
Creation
of a quality art work is a developed skill that has little to do with
digital trickery and a lot to do with creativity, imagination, experimentation,
and, sometimes, just plain hard work and perseverance. Any
painting must stand on its own merits, whether the painting was created
using a
toothpick, a brush or a computer.
For centuries, high
quality crafted services and products were only available
to the few who could afford them. Technology
allows me to offer my clients commissioned paintings at affordable prices ...
and to guarantee their satisfaction. I get incredible fulfillment from the
great emotional reactions from satisfied customers when they see their photograph transformed into a beautiful work of art.
